TFB plc has partnered with eCopy, a global provider of document imaging solutions, to provide enhanced document capture and document management capabilities for firms using TFB’s award-winning case and practice management system, Partner for Windows.

eCopy is an innovative provider of document imaging solutions that rapidly integrate paper-bound information into existing business processes and applications. With the specially developed eCopy TFB Connector, linked to a multi-function device (MFD), users can quickly and easily transform physical documents into an electronic format and import them straight into Partner for Windows Case Manager.

Users can already use Partner for Windows Postroom Partner module which allows users to scan and allocate documents in their literal from, to specific matters within Case Manager. eCopy extends this functionality by allowing users to import documents directly into Case Manager from an MFD, which could be situated anywhere within the office, and offers scanning to e-mail, fax, network folders, and eCopy Paperworks™, where users can retrieve, combine and edit scanned documents at their desktop.

The integration between the two technologies will allow firms to store all case communication and documentation in a secure central repository, enabling users to access documents quickly and directly from Partner for Windows thus reducing the need to reference and store paper files. As well as the reduction in printing costs, firms will benefit from productivity gains associated with the implementation of efficient document handling processes. More...
