UPDATE: Apple are to issue a patch to resolve this problem via iTunes and available on Saturday.

Details have been announced of an iPhone security weakness that will potentially let malicious users take control of your iPhone.

There is not thought to be any immediate danger as hackers have yet to build tools to exploit the flaw in the iPhones software. It is now down to Apple to release a patch for the phone before this becomes a real world problem. Full details here
